These guys truly went above and beyond to keep us at optimum physical condition. The tents , sleeping bags and other snow equipments were of highest grade. Try to use the best trekking gear available ankle length shoes, rain jackets and never ever forget the walking pole, its the most underrated item in the list and goes a long way. We all reached thé Summit of KK for the sunrise and it was the most surreal experience. We also got some fresh snowfall at the base of KK which was absolutely magical. Will be back for more . Outdoor monks took amazing care of all of... read more us, making sure we bonded as a group, enjoyed the trek, learnt along the way and most importantly... Ate well! In a group where not everyone was at the same fitness level to climb, our guides Bharatji and Dheeraji made sure that we all made it to the summit as a team. Not to mention, they clicked some of the most amazing pics for us never once rushing us to "keep moving" or "reach the camp" like some of the other guides on the mountain kept yelling at their groups. They were patient, polite and best of all provided us with all the support we needed. For those of us who wanted to explore, they even took us on small excursions along the way to discover the mountain and spot wildlife. Lastly, Ankush, our tour coordinator, was an absolute jem, helping us prepare before we reached Dehradun and offering some trek-saving advice that got us through the cold nights :) Thanks Outdoor Monks! Please note: The campsites for a particular day can be changed at the last minute on the trek, depending upon the availability of campsite, the safety of trekkers and other resources like water. The final call to do so will be in the hands of the Trip Leader after discussing the same with his local teammates and fellow trekkers

We provide transfers to get you to the starting point and back as comfortably and in as less time as possible for you to enjoy the trip. For this we use quality vehicles like Mahindra Bolero, Tempo Traveler, etc. and no local jeeps or similar vehicles are used except where there are short transfers from the Guesthouse/Hotels to the trek points, etc.
The transport tariff includes all driver charges, fuel, parking, toll, and taxes.
Accommodation in good quality neat and clean (Hotels/Guesthouse/Homestays/ Alpine Tents) on double & Triple sharing basis
*Note: As Outdoor Monks promote holistic tourism in the remote villages, so wherever possible we provide accommodation in villager’s homes to empower them. Homestays are usually in small houses with a capacity of 2-4 rooms only, hence sharing basis while your stay would not be applicable*
All Meals, starting with evening snacks on Day 01 to breakfast on Day 07. Meals will be simple, nourishing, hot, fresh and vegetarian, mostly including a variety of Indian and local Pahaadi cuisines wherever possible

A team of Qualified and Professional Trip Leader/ Guide(s) (Ratio 1 guide for every 08 Trekkers), cook and other hospitable helping staff to enjoy the trek
Professional mountain guides/ trip leaders with certification from Nehru Institute of mountaineering or similar institution, for the group to ensure high safety, personal attention and passing the right information & facts which are necessary to appreciate a trek. All our guides are professionally trained to handle school groups and FIT’s and have many years of relevant experience in guiding treks.

Expenses for evacuation and rescue operations due to natural calamity, mishaps, injury, or any health problem
Extra cost incurred due to any unforeseen occurrence landslides, roadblocks, weather, expenses incurred on an account of sickness, etc.
Cost for supplementary service, optional Tours, Up-gradation Charges, and camera charges.
Cost for service provided on a personal request
Bottled Water, Soft Drinks, Laundry Charges, Room Service, incidentals or any other expense of personal nature

The standard administrative charge of 10% of the Total cost of the trip – Not refundable any point of time
